Another win for Quadpack Group! Three Part Harmony from Estée Lauder's Origins brand has scooped up the Package of the Year Health and Beauty Silver award in New Jersey, US. Organised by the New Jersey Packaging Executives Club, the event – now in its 37th year – celebrates excellence in the packaging industry.

The Origins Three Part Harmony range consists of two premium anti-ageing products: Nourishing Cream in a 50ml jar and Oil-Infused Serum in a 30ml dropper, adorned with a beautiful wooden cap and collar made to measure at Quadpack Group's Technotraf wood factory. Both are contained in a luxury wooden presentation box, also produced by Technotraf.

The integration of wood in the packaging perfectly complements the brand's ethos, focused on natural skin care and a commitment to the environment. Since its inception, Origins has helped to plant over half a million trees, so Technotraf's creations made of maple wood from PEFC-certified sustainable forests were a natural fit.

The range was chosen as the silver winner from among 86 entries. The award was handed over at NJPEC's Annual Package of the Year Banquet, held on 19 November at the Madison Hotel, Morristown, NJ, US.

Imagine a fragrance accessory that is both an aromatherapy device and a bold fashion statement. Too futuristic and conceptual? Perhaps – but this product exists, has a name and a creator: ‘NI’ was developed in 2018 by designer Amaia Aranzabal as a final-year project at the prestigious Elisava design and engineering school in Barcelona, Spain. The challenge for that year’s graduating class had been set by Quadpack, partnering with Elisava for the first time.
