The German beauty packaging company, Louvrette, with more than 180 employees, 8,500m2 manufacturing facilities, 40 injection-moulding lines and a range of more than 100 innovative and sustainable products, is the new member of the Quadpack family.

Quadpack Industries closes 2017 with €90.7m turnover and 29% growth
Quadpack Industries delivered strong results in 2017, thanks to its diversified business model and sustainable growth strategy. EBITDA reached a healthy €6.8 million, an increase of 2% over the 2016 results. With a consolidated presence in the European skincare packaging market, 2017 saw the company increase its penetration of the fragrance and make-up markets, together now accounting for 35% of its business. Its hybrid manufacturing/sourcing model keeps its offering flexible, while delivering specialised differentiation through its own manufacturing output.

Automating the extraordinary: Technotraf ramps up jar cap production
New machinery has been installed at Quadpack's Technotraf wood factory to industrialise the production of unique shapes in wooden componentry. A high-speed CNC (computer-numeric controlled) milling machine and a six-head CNC sanding machine have been added to the plant's installations, following a €400,000 investment.

Quadpack celebrates merger at Hong Kong party
The annual Quadpack cocktail party during Cosmoprof Hong Kong this year celebrated the merger with Collcap. Previous Collcap members, including founder John McDermott, joined their new Quadpack colleagues on 17 November on the Rooftop Terrace of the Wooloomooloo Steakhouse in Wan Chai. Over 140 staff, clients and suppliers took a break from the show to relax and enjoy the stunning views over Victoria Harbour.

Quadpack Plastics sees arrival of high-end injection-moulding line
Since its incorporation into Quadpack Group in April this year, the production experts of the Manufacturing Division have been streamlining the layout of the plant. The new setup ensures optimal workflow, from injection-moulding, through decoration, to assembly and warehousing. The arrival of a high-end injection moulding machine in June signifies the start of two-year plan to deploy state-of-the-art injection moulding equipment at Quadpack Plastics.

Krampak becomes Quadpack Impressions and reports record sales
Quadpack Group's decoration plant has a new name. Krampak, which was incorporated into the group in 2014, has now been rebranded 'Quadpack Impressions'. Two years since its inclusion, its facilities and its turnover have seen significant growth. The rebranding reflects its full integration into the group and the incorporation of the decoration facility at the newly acquired Quadpack plastics.

The installation of a €400,000 bespoke regenerative thermal oxidiser (RTO) ensures its facilities exceed environmental regulations now and in the future. Spanish NGO La Fundació Antigua Caixa Sabadell 1859 has formally reopened the Can Deu forest in Catalonia, Spain, as part of a massive regeneration project co-supported by the Quadpack Foundation. Apollo appoints Quadpack as exclusive distributor
Quadpack has signed a contract with leading Korean manufacturer Apollo to distribute its innovative range of dispensers in Europe, Australia and New Zealand. The agreement makes Apollo’s cutting-edge pumps, including its high-tech foamers, exclusively available to Quadpack's client base, while providing Apollo with an established route to external markets.

Quadpack Spain ramps up its management team
Quadpack Spain has hired Marcela Buitrago as its new business unit director. Reporting to Group CEO Tim Eaves, Marcela will supervise and manage all aspects of the business, from sales and project management to finance and administration. The appointment will enable Tim Eaves to take on a strategic role in managing the Group's international operations.

Absolution well pump grabs three prestigious awards
Absolution’s well pump developed by Quadpack has now scooped up three awards since its launch. L’Eau Soir et Matin eau démaquillante won the Wallpaper Design awards 2010, the 2010 PCD Care category award by Jury selection and the Special Jury Prize at the Beauty Challenger Awards.

Quadpack buys majority share in gifting & promotions company Spirit
Quadpack has just acquired a majority stake in Spirit, a promotional company that provides GWPs (gifts with purchase) and other branded items to the health and beauty industry. Plans are to take the Spirit formula and launch it onto the European stage.
