Quadpack launches a Christmas Challenge for positive impact

The 2021 budget for corporate gifts will be donated to an environmental project

This Christmas, Quadpack is remaining true to its purpose of doing things right, differently, better. Instead of sending the traditional corporate gifts all over the world, the group is donating the whole budget for Christmas presents to a positive impact project, and has launched a challenge to get more partners to do the same.

Quadpack is partnering with the Beauty Cluster to inspire other members of the beauty ecosystem to dedicate part of their Christmas budget to do good and help others. Companies or people who decide to join can use the hashtag #positiveimpactchristmas to have their efforts communicated by Quadpack in its social networks.

The decision to use the corporate gift budget for charitable donations came as a natural result of a reflection of the social and environmental impact Quadpack wants to have on the world. “We must take into consideration that the CO2 footprint of sending these parcels all over the world would be high. The challenge is a way to inspire others to have a positive impact in their own communities,” says Marta Gil, Quadpack Foundation Manager.

The #positiveimpactchristmas challenge was officially launched on 16 November and will remain active until Christmas Eve.

Fostering innovation with creative young talent

Imagine a fragrance accessory that is both an aromatherapy device and a bold fashion statement. Too futuristic and conceptual? Perhaps – but this product exists, has a name and a creator: ‘NI’ was developed in 2018 by designer Amaia Aranzabal as a final-year project at the prestigious Elisava design and engineering school in Barcelona, Spain. The challenge for that year’s graduating class had been set by Quadpack, partnering with Elisava for the first time.

New investments put Quadpack at the forefront of smart manufacturing

Increased manufacturing capabilities are one of Quadpack’s priorities for the next four years. By 2025, the beauty packaging provider aims to lead innovations in airless and sustainable products, offering solutions “in the region, for the region”. Louvrette one year on: a successful journey

What happens when German engineering excellence meets creativity born in Barcelona? A raft of innovative solutions, developed, produced and delivered in a way that’s sustainable, creative and efficient. That is just one of the outcomes of the rare but successful ‘marriage’ between German manufacturer Louvrette and Quadpack. A lot has happened in the year since the acquisition, which pushed Quadpack into the Top 10 of European beauty packaging providers.

As Sustainability and Innovation are key priorities for Quadpack and the global consumer market, the organisation feels the responsibility to work with supply partners from all regions to establish a new way of doing business, where collaboration is the new competition. On November 13, 2019, Quadpack held a dedicated suppliers’ conference on Sustainability and Innovation in Hong Kong to facilitate this new era of partnerships. Held during the 2019 edition of Cosmopack Asia, in attendance were Quadpack’s top 20 Asia supply partners.
