Guerlain's Terracotta bronzing powder is back with Pause d'Été. The star of the 2016 Terracotta Summer Collection, it once again comes packaged in a beautiful wooden compact expertly crafted at Quadpack Group's Technotraf manufacturing facility.
The 2016 edition is just as sumptuous as its predecessors. Inspired by the sunny terraces of the French Riviera, its exquisite palette captures all the reflections of the sun, to light up the complexion with an instant, natural healthy radiance. Perfect for the current trend of glowing skin. The powder's relief design almost causes reluctance to use it. The double G logo at the centre is encircled by a striking pattern of gold-coloured nautical ropes.
The compact itself is made of PEFC-certified beech, stained a rich, dark brown, with the Terracotta logo hot-stamped in gold lettering. Its smooth surface sits comfortably in the hand, the warm feel of wood reflecting the warmth of the summer sun. The two-part structure is held together with a subtle magnetic closure that's easy to open and close, the magnets naturally finding each other on close contact. The large mirror on the inside offers a conveniently wide view to help get that flawless, dazzling summer complexion.
